Just two weeks ago, Eric Wood broke his leg during a Buffalo Bills game, and just watching that video was painful. Unfortunately, Minnesota Vikings linebacker E.J. Henderson seems to have hopped on the pain train. Check out the E.J. Henderson broken leg video on the left. OUCH.
The Vikings played the Arizona Cardinals last night, and with just over five minutes left in the game, Arizona running back Tim Hightower took a handoff and rushed down the right side of the field. Most of the Vikings were covering the left side, but safety Jamaraca Sanford dove to tackle Hightower. He missed and smashed into E.J. Henderson, snapping his femur.
Watch the E.J. Henderson broken leg video on the left for a slow motion replay. The injury has definitely ended his season, and maybe his career. The Vikings’ website doesn’t have any more details, but E.J. Henderson is sure to be on a heavy morphine drip right now. Send good thoughts his way.
Any thoughts on how E.J’s broken leg will affect the Vikings? I’m not a sports guy, but this can’t be good.
